We specialise in sourcing and developing accommodation for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, acquired brain injuries, and behaviours that may challenge traditional services. We do not provide general housing. Our focus is on delivering high quality accommodation that supports independence, stability, wellbeing, and positive long term outcomes.

Tenancy Allocation

At Abbeyway, we are committed to making sure every person we support is matched with the right home and the right housemates. We know that each individual is unique, and we take great care to ensure our tenancy allocation process reflects that.

Our approach is collaborative and inclusive. It brings together the prospective tenant, their family or representatives, current support providers, the local authority (as commissioner of the service), and the chosen registered social landlord. Together, we work to ensure that each decision is made with care, transparency, and the best interests of everyone involved.

These partnerships are key to ensuring that tenants have not only the right support but also the right housing – well-maintained, affordable, and designed to meet complex and individual needs. Our RSL partners bring specialist expertise in housing management and compliance, allowing Abbeyway and care providers to focus on delivering outstanding support.
