Our mission is simple but essential: to deliver purpose-built housing for individuals with complex needs—including those with learning disabilities and autism—who often face significant barriers to finding appropriate accommodation elsewhere. We don’t offer general housing. We focus exclusively on providing homes for people who need support to thrive in a community setting.

Our approach is collaborative and inclusive. It brings together the prospective tenant, their family or representatives, current support providers, the local authority (as commissioner of the service), and the chosen registered social landlord. Together, we work to ensure that each decision is made with care, transparency, and the best interests of everyone involved.

These partnerships are key to ensuring that tenants have not only the right support but also the right housing – well-maintained, affordable, and designed to meet complex and individual needs. Our RSL partners bring specialist expertise in housing management and compliance, allowing Abbeyway and care providers to focus on delivering outstanding support.
